Runner towards stars.
Belgian actress, lover of surprises.
Dumbo was my nickname ’cause my ears are wide open.
“My momma always said: “Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what
you’re gonna get.’” True.
If I were an actor, I would be Sean Penn. If I were a singer, I would be Nina Simone.
If I were a word, I would always be ‘Serendipity.’
When I was young, I wanted to be a lawyer. Speak up for someone who can’t. Today, I guess my work is not too far removed from this first choice. “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Thanks, Confucius.
“This would be a better world for children if parents had to eat the spinach,” Groucho Marx. See, Popeye, even Groucho didn’t agree! Spinach made my teeth go crazy as a child. I couldn’t swallow it; it would come right back up, so … I just kept it in my mouth. ‘Cause I always did what I was told. That’s how I rolled.
I am a Belgian actress who began my acting career in Brussels, Belgium where I received my training from the well-respected drama school IAD (Institut des Arts de Diffusion). Upon graduation, I wished to further develop my acting skills and attended LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) in a classical acting course. I then worked in films (“The Last Breath,” “The Owner,” “The Invader”), television (“Melting Pot Café”) and theater (“Jalousie en 3 Mails,” “L’Illusion Comique,” “Tell Me Lies”) in both countries. Since November 2010, I have based myself in sunny Los Angeles, California where I’m pursuing my career (“Manhattan,” “NCIS,” Finding Focus,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Henry V”, “The Unfryable Meatness of Being”) and continuing to sharpen my skills at the Howard Fine Acting Studio. I still travel to Europe on occasion for work… and family! Although my first love remains the stage, my heart keeps on being surprised by the magic of the screen.
